Zinc-coated galvanised steel is used in the construction of the Racket Grid suspended ceiling system (T-bar) to stop corrosion from rusting. This bar’s underside is coated with a thick layer of polyester, which gives it strength and durability against variations in weather. Essentially, there are three components:

Main-T

The Main Ts are hung by a suspension system and bear the weight of the Grid system. These Ts feature an interconnecting structure that allows them to increase length and form a continuous mesh over the space in which they are employed.

Main-T

Cross-T

Cross Ts are employed sporadically at predetermined intervals and are interlocked with Main Ts. Typically, the Cross Ts come in two sizes: 1200 mm and 600 mm. They therefore form modules, resulting in a mesh/grid.

Cross-T

Wall Angle

The wall angle is attached to the perimeter of the wall at the ceiling level to support the Main Ts and provides a finish when it ends on the wall.
